A backbone for India's gig economy.

Keystone is building the infrastructure India's 12 million gig workers need to onboard, get gear, find housing, and build a portable identity that opens up credit.

The Problem

You deliver everything.
Except for yourself.

Every morning, 12 million workers keep India moving. The moment they step off the app, the country they hold up has no record of them. No credit score, no portable identity, no safety net. A ₹7,000 tax on being invisible, paid every month.

i.

5,000 deliveries, no record

A rider can complete five thousand trips on one platform and arrive at the next one as a stranger. Reputation doesn't travel. They start at zero, every time.

ii.

Earning ₹18,000, paying ₹7,000

A rider on ₹18,000 a month spends ₹7,000 of it on a helmet, a rain jacket, a phone mount, and a shared room. Bought from middlemen who keep no records and offer no credit.

iii.

Invisible to every lender

No EPF. No payslip. No GST. The most credit-active class of Indian workers shows up nowhere in any credit bureau. They cannot borrow ₹2,000 to fix a flat tyre.

Traction

We started with jackets.
We found something bigger.

Keystone began as a simple idea: sell delivery riders a jacket that actually worked through the monsoon. Eight months later, we had crossed ₹2 Cr in revenue and riders were calling about housing, phone plans, and loans. The jacket was never the product. The relationship was.

Revenue

In 8 months, from a standing start. Selling gear workers actually wanted to buy.

The Platform

One platform.
Built around your life.

The Bazaar, the Hubs, the Ledger. Three products that meet workers where they already spend, sleep, and earn, rolled out in the order the workforce actually needs them.

01

The Bazaar

Gear & essentials

We started here. Workers were paying 30 to 40% over wholesale for the same helmet, the same jacket, the same data pack. We aggregate the buying, ship to their door, and keep the margin honest.

02

The Hubs

Housing & community

Rooms ten minutes from the next surge zone. Cleaner than the PG, cheaper than the daily-rent room, run by us. Workers stop bleeding earnings to a long commute and stop losing rent deposits to bad landlords.

03

The Ledger

Identity, credit & insurance

Every delivery, every rent payment, every purchase feeds one Score. It moves between platforms. It opens loans, insurance, savings. The first piece of financial identity a gig worker actually owns.

The Product

Built for workers,
not for decks.

From the first onboarding tap to the Score dashboard. Every screen is designed to be readable, trustable, and operable with one hand on a low-end phone.

Keystone Score

How It Works

Five steps.
One identity.

A five-step flow that turns each transaction, delivery, and rating into something a worker can carry with them, for life.

01.

Plug in

We integrate with the platform's onboarding flow. New workers meet Keystone on day one.

02.

Equip

Helmet, jacket, data pack at wholesale, shipped overnight.

03.

House

If they need a room near the work, we have one. Move-in by week one.

04.

Score

Every delivery, every rent payment, every purchase feeds the Score. Theirs to keep.

05.

Unlock

When the Score is high enough, loans, insurance and savings turn on. For most of them, the first time.

Why Now

Three market forces.
One window.

The regulatory, technological, and economic conditions for this business have never aligned before, and won't stay aligned for long.

I

UPI ubiquity

500 million Indians transact on UPI every month. For the first time in history, a delivery rider's daily cash flow is legible. Every wage, every fuel top-up, every dinner shows up in a feed we can score.

II

New labour codes

The 2020 Social Security Code makes gig worker benefits the platform's responsibility, not the worker's. Platforms now need a compliance layer. We were already building it.

III

Platform retention crisis

Platforms spend ₹3,000 to ₹5,000 acquiring each rider. Sixty percent are gone within ninety days. The CFO line item that used to read 'CAC' now needs a sibling: retention. That sibling is us.

For Gig Platforms

Give your workforce
an unfair advantage.

You pay ₹3,000 to ₹5,000 to bring each rider on.
Sixty percent leave inside ninety days.
The reason isn't motivation. It's a broken helmet, a ninety-minute commute, an emergency they couldn't borrow ₹2,000 to fix. We solve those reasons. You keep the rider.

Drop us in

One API for onboarding, gear, housing, and Score. Stays out of your stack.

Sprint, not quarter

Lightweight SDK, pre-built modules. Your team ships the integration in a sprint.

3× retention

Platforms running with us see riders stay 3× longer. Because we fixed the reasons they leave.

The Team

Built by operators,
not theorists.

We came to this from the ground up, working with riders, watching how they lived, understanding what the system gets wrong. Every product decision is informed by that.
